2. In an Emergency

This website and our email are not monitored for emergencies. If you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

 

3. No Guarantee of Results

Every person is different. As with all healthcare approaches, results are not guaranteed, and there is no promise to cure. Descriptions of our services, including Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment (SAAT), describe what a service is designed to address, not a promised outcome.

SAAT does not replace allergy testing, avoiding your known allergens, or emergency medication. If you have been prescribed epinephrine, keep carrying it and follow your allergist’s or physician’s advice.

 

4. Appointments

New patients begin with a consultation, which is required before an initial appointment. The consultation fee is applied toward the cost of your initial appointment.

Virginia law requires written evidence that you have received a diagnostic exam in the last six months from a licensed practitioner of medicine, osteopathic medicine, chiropractic or podiatry regarding the condition for which you are seeking treatment. If written evidence is not available, you will be required to sign a form acknowledging our recommendation that you seek such an exam. We’ll go over this at your consultation.

Online booking is handled through AcuBliss, our patient scheduling and records system, which has its own terms. You can also book by phone at 540-324-3422.

 

5. Cancellations

Appointments can be cancelled at no charge at least 24 hours before your appointment. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours, or missed without notice, are charged a flat fee depending on service type. You can cancel or reschedule through the patient portal or by calling us.

 

6. Fees, Payment and Insurance

Current prices are listed on our Services page. Prices may change; the price that applies is the one in effect on the date of your visit.

We accept cash, check, or major credit cards.

Ohr Acupuncture and Wellness is not contracted with any insurance companies. If you would like to seek reimbursement from your insurance company, we can provide a superbill. We cannot guarantee whether your insurance will reimburse you.

 

7. Use of This Website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. Please do not attempt to disrupt the website, access areas you are not authorized to use, or use the website to send harmful or unwanted content.

 

8. Our Content

The text, graphics, logos, photographs, and other content on this website belong to Ohr Acupuncture and Wellness, PLLC or are used with permission.
